How To Gain YouTube Success!

Everybody wants to know the secrets.  How do you get more views/subscribers/etc?  An increasing number of people online are seeking success.  Currently, there are many YouTubers who are making a living off of making videos!  Wouldn't it be awesome if you were one of them?  I wish I was...

Well guess what! It's not as easy as it used to be.  Maybe if you tried a few years ago, it wouldn't be as hard.  A lot of YouTubers who have gained success started out years ago.  There were less people back then, which meant less competition.  YouTubers like Smosh gained success early on because of the quality of their content.  But what if they were just starting out?

The fact is, it would be 10x harder.

Every second, at least 1 hour of video is uploaded.  This was back in January.  It will only increase.  People scrolling through videos have a smaller chance of seeing your video, much less decide to watch it.

So how DO you make it on YouTube?

The thing is, you can't do it alone anymore.  And if you did, you'd be extremely lucky.

They say it's not what you know, but who you know.  This applies 100%.  It's not the content you can provide, but who you know is willing to support it.  Let's look at a few examples.

TheWillofDC lived with RayWilliamJohnson for a while.  If not for Ray, Will would be a nobody.

My buddy TimsVlogs happened to be in a couple of Ty and Gray's vlogs. BAM! A couple thousand subscribers right there.

Ok, someone outside of YouTube.  Nicki Minaj.  Need I say more?

I heard Outasight on the radio the other day.  Who jumpstarted their career? RayWilliamJohnson.

MichaelWarbux got a shoutout from SXEPhil. Now he's up to 23k subs.

I'm not saying you're doomed if you're not friends with a bigger YouTuber, but it's almost instant success if you were.  You can still make it.  I don't recall Freddie Wong getting help.  He provided content that was highly appealing.  The YouTube standard for content keeps increasing, which makes it evermore difficult to provide that certain content that everyone is looking for.  And with more YouTubers, originality becomes harder and harder.  We already have a viral video reviewer, a news reporter, and a guy with a lot of explosions and gunshots.

So my question is, what will YOU bring to the table?
